Among the many sessions will be a workshop by Tim Benson who was elected to Membership this year.
designed to teach how to paint dynamic portraits in oil.
Required Materials
Oil paints to include
- Titanium white
- Lemon yellow
- Burnt umber
- Cadmium red
- Alizarin crimson
- Ultramarine blue
Tubes should ideally be at least 200ml each and student quality oil paints are ideal.
A range of flat bristle brushes (not synthetic) to include one of 0.5inches and one of 2inches in width (approx)
- 3 canvasses/boards/canvas boards of 10inches x 12inches
- 1 canvas/board/canvas board of 30inches x 24inches (approx)
- Solvent-free thinner
- Jam jars for thinner
- Kitchen roll/rags
- Palette
- Palette knife
