I am a London based oil painter specialising in portraits. I work with impasto paint to create an image that portrays more than a simple likeness; the character of the sitter and the story that their portrait tells is just as important. Beyond individual commissions I work with international charities and NGOs to paint portraits of people who do not have a voice.

METHOD OF WORKING
I paint exclusively in oils using large brush marks and an impasto technique to make painterly portraits that reflect the personality of the sitter. I prefer to work from life but will also work from good quality photographs and I am happy to travel to my sitter.
