ABOUT ANTHONY
Anthony Morris was born in Oxford in 1938 and studied at Oxford School of Art to NDD. He graduated to the Royal Academy Schools in 1961 and spent three years in the painting faculty under Peter Greenham CBE RA. Here, he achieved two important scholarships.
A regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition since 1960; he exhibits both landscapes and portraits in oils and watercolour. He exhibited by invitation at the Royal Academy Bicentennial Exhibition 1968.
Anthony travels widely and then finishes his works in his studio in rural Herefordshire. Light and direct observation are crucial to Anthony’s method.

METHOD OF WORKING
I also paint portraits in watercolours for the same fee as pastels. I can paint groups and can work from photographs if absolutely necessary. I travel to my sitters and like about six sittings for a painting.
I am not currently registered for VAT.
