ABOUT ANTHONY
Anthony Connolly, President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, trained at Goldsmiths.
He has work in many public and private collections including the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle, West Point Military Academy; and Rhodes House and Campion Hall, both in Oxford.
Anthony is also an experienced teacher and runs occasional drawing and painting courses; his book, ‘Painting Portraits’ is published by the Crowood Press.

This is a rough fee-guide for a single portrait. Frame, travel, and accommodation expenses are not included. For groups and non-standard sizes please ask for a quote.
METHOD OF WORKING
The process of making a portrait always begins with a discussion. Consideration is given to all the elements that the picture might eventually contain. I generally require 3- 8 sittings and prefer to work entirely from life but I do realise that the sitter may not always be able to make the necessary commitment and so I am prepared to make use of photographic reference.
I am not currently registered for VAT.
