Drawing from Life – to understand how things are, to unpick what is before me and through the rigour of looking, I hope, grow a better ability to articulate new found relationships and perhaps a clearer, cleaner sense of some facet of a pose or other. The thing newly understood could be spacial or to do with anatomy or repetition of shape or form or line. It could be to do with light and tone or simply finding a stronger sense of the character of what is before me.
