The RP Critical Writing Prize:<\/strong><\/p>\n An award for new writing on any aspect of contemporary portrait painting. <\/strong><\/p>\nThe prize is open to all.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Applicants were invited to send a proposal or pitch for a new text.
\nThree of the applicants have been selected to realise the proposed text and awarded either the first prize of \u00a3500 or one of two \u2018special mention\u2019 prizes of \u00a3250.<\/p>\n
All three texts will be published in the RP Annual Exhibition Catalogue published in May (2025). The catalogue is a well-established document of record within the sector.[vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
