ABOUT SALLY
Sally was born on the island of Guernsey in 1986 and works both in London and in Guernsey where she has studios. She completed a two-year full-time diploma in portraiture at The Heatherley School of Fine Art where she was awarded the Heatherley Portrait Prize. Her work consists of paintings in oil and drawings in charcoal completed from direct observation. She paints in natural light conditions over approximately six sittings of two-and-a-half hours each. She works both in her studios and on location and her paintings vary in size depending on the composition and context.
